We have signed a new agreement with IES Fernando Wirtz (A Coruña) to develop a new edition of the Intensive Dual Vocational Training program in Web Application Development. Next year will be the first time we have two simultaneous editions of this program, reinforcing our commitment to talent and training.

This cycle, the only one in Galicia with an intensive and full-class modality in the area of Information Technologies, will have 15 places and will maintain its innovative character by prioritizing the personal interview as an access criterion over the academic grade.

The selection process will take place over the next few weeks. As in previous years, students will need to submit their applications and, once successful, participate in an interview with our talent team, who will assess their skills, motivation, and suitability for the technological profile we are seeking. The interviews will be held in July so that we can communicate the results to both the educational institution and the Xunta de Galicia (Galician Regional Government) in time for the start of the academic year in September.

The training program, which will last two academic years, will combine instruction at the IES Fernando Wirtz with internships at ALTIA's facilities. Students will participate in real-world, multidisciplinary projects within specialized technical teams.

“This program allows us to continue training highly qualified professionals who meet the current needs of the technology sector,” says Ángela Souto, Head of Talent. “The addition of a new edition each year represents another step in our commitment to Intensive Dual Vocational Training and will allow us to expand access to a training model where learning takes place in real-world environments, alongside professionals working with cutting-edge technologies. Our intention is to continue consolidating this initiative as a pathway to quality technology employment.”

The results of previous editions support the impact of this training program, as demonstrated by the fact that in the first two calls for applications, more than one hundred people applied for the 15 available places. Regarding employability, the program's objective is to provide students with continuity at ALTIA, supporting their professional development .

“Collaboration between the educational environment and the business world remains fundamental to guaranteeing useful, up-to-date training aligned with market needs,” says Jaime Saavedra, director of the A Coruña office. “The launch of two simultaneous cohorts reflects the consolidation of a program that adds value to both students and our teams. Every year we see how this initiative contributes to the development of junior talent with a solid technical foundation and a great capacity for adaptation, something essential for the future of the technology sector in Galicia.”

The Intensive Dual Vocational Training program offers an opportunity for students seeking applied, market-oriented training with constant exposure to innovation. With this new edition, and for the first time with two simultaneous cohorts, ALTIA reinforces its commitment to young talent, employability, and the development of Galicia's technology sector.
