We are celebrating a very special milestone: 15 years since ALTIA took the step of joining BME Growth. It was a pivotal moment in our history, a courageous decision that marked the beginning of a period of growth, transformation, and shared ambition. Looking back from where we are today is truly inspiring.
When we became the tenth Spanish company to enter the market in 2010, and the first from Galicia, we assumed a responsibility that went far beyond the financial. We wanted to demonstrate that from Galicia, with talent, commitment, and vision, we could also build a solid, competitive technology company, ready to lead.
Over these 15 years, we have become the longest-standing company on the BME Growth index, boasting one of the largest market capitalizations and the longest track record among the technology companies in the index. And not only that: we were also the first company on the market to distribute dividends, a gesture that underscored our absolute commitment to the people who trusted us from day one. For us, rewarding that support has always been a priority, a way of giving back to those who have believed in us.
This anniversary isn't just about numbers; it's about something much deeper. It's about culture, purpose, and the conviction that technology is a catalyst for transformation for organizations, people, and regions. It's about thousands of professionals who have grown with us, clients who have supported us through increasingly significant challenges, and projects that seemed impossible 15 years ago but are now an integral part of our daily work.
Joining BME Growth allowed us to accelerate our growth, boosted our internationalization, and gave us the visibility we needed to continue evolving. But most importantly, it reaffirmed an idea that is stronger than ever: believing in what we do has an impact. Investing in talent has an impact. Today we celebrate these 15 years with pride, but above all, with perspective. We know that the path we have traveled has allowed us to get here and, at the same time, prepares us for what is to come.
