
Last Friday, the five finalists of the 4th Altia Premia Awards presented their final degree projects in the ETSE Auditorium.

The finalists presented their work to the jury, composed of Josefina Fernández, Ana Castro, Miguel Ares, and José Ramón Tubío, representing Altia; and María Jesús Taboada and Juan Carlos Pichel, representing the School of Engineering of the University of Santiago de Compostela.
The jury members agree that all the finalists' presentations were of excellent quality. The jury's decision will be announced between February 6 and 10.

Marcos Padín Rodríguez with his project "Data structures for interactive and integrated exploration of geospatial data."
Manuel Suárez Vidal with his project "Web Application for the Recording and Presentation of Essential Emergency Information."
Jorge Vázquez Pérez with his project "Image Classification with Quantum Machine Learning."
Ainhoa Vivel Couso with her project "AgeX: Automatic explanation in natural language of dental age calculation."
About Altia Premia
This initiative, carried out jointly by Altia and the ETSE (Spanish Technical University of Seville), aims to stimulate the digital training and talent of students in the Computer Engineering Degree and to reward their talent, passion, and effort, rewarding the winner with a prize of €1,500.
