At ALTIA, we continue to take steps to be closer to our clients and the people who make up our team. With this goal in mind, we have opened a new office in Gijón, a space that strengthens our operations in Asturias and will allow us to continue growing in the region.
Through a collaboration agreement signed today by David González , CEO of Sekuens, and Constantino Fernández, our president, we inaugurated a space in the Gijón Science and Technology Park , a strategic location in the Principality of Asturias. The event, presided over by the Minister of Science, Industry and Employment, Borja Sánchez, was attended by the company's vice president, Adela Pérez Verdugo , and the director of this new office, Juan José Parada Vales .
Borja Sánchez emphasized that our arrival “strengthens Asturias’s position as an attractive region for innovative investment and confirms the sustained growth of a sector that is key to the economic future of our region.” Constantino Fernández , for his part, highlighted that the new Asturian headquarters reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable growth and a close relationship with the local community.
Sustainable growth
The opening of this office reflects the growth of our activity in the Principality, where we have been developing projects for public and private organizations since 2020. These include the Government of the Principality of Asturias, the University of Oviedo, Hunosa, Lacera, the Cantabrian Hydrographic Confederation, and various municipalities within the region.
With over 30 years of experience, more than 4,200 professionals from over 40 nationalities and a presence in 10 countries, at ALTIA we support organizations around the world in their digital transformation processes through innovative technological solutions.
The new office will allow us to further strengthen our relationship with our clients in Asturias and continue consolidating our position as a leading technology partner in the region.
Furthermore, this new space was created to accommodate the growth of our team in the Principality, which currently comprises more than 50 professionals. The office will be a meeting point that fosters collaboration and helps us continue to promote talent development within the community.
With this opening we continue to consolidate our presence in Asturias and reinforce our commitment to sustainable growth, both of the business and of the people who are part of ALTIA.
