National Heritage , the public body dedicated to the care and maintenance of assets historically linked to the Crown of Spain, continues to rely on Altia for its digitization project. In this case, for the development and maintenance of its WECO file processor , a platform used by more than a thousand users in various types of procedures over the next two years, which has a budget of €175,000.
Betting on digital transformation
The National Heritage Department, which reports to the Ministry of the Presidency, Parliamentary Relations, and Democratic Memory, has relied on us since 2017 to advance its digital transformation process in various projects . One of these is the development and maintenance of WECO, its case processing system, used by more than a thousand users in these five years across a wide range of procedures.
Some of these projects, related to Contracting or Human Resources, coexist with other specific projects, such as the Official Events held at the project's facilities, primarily at the Royal Palace in Madrid, or the Restoration projects, which manage the work carried out on historical and artistic assets belonging to the National Heritage. This project , which began in the area of Restoration, later expanded to other areas of activity involving all users.
"The wide variety of procedures included in WECO gives an idea of its enormous potential as a case manager, as well as its flexibility and adaptability to different types of procedures," says Nuria López , project manager at Altia. "In this project, we face an exciting challenge: to continue developing and strengthening this tool, whose objective is, without a doubt, to increase the efficiency of the organization's internal operations by streamlining and facilitating its procedures."
