This Tuesday, December 2nd, we received the "Empresa más Igual" Distinction from the Community of Madrid at an event held at our headquarters, hosting the 21st Edition of the Madrid Flexible Company Awards 2025. This distinction recognizes our commitment to equal opportunities and the construction of inclusive work environments in a sector, the technology sector, which continues to present significant challenges in terms of female representation and diversity.
The event included a speech by Alberto Loureiro , director of our Madrid office, who emphasized in his welcome that "equality is not only an ethical principle, but a condition for innovation and sustainability in the sector."
This recognition highlights our social roadmap, integrated into our ESG strategy, where social responsibility is a fundamental pillar for our growth. Equality is a cross-cutting principle that guides our internal policies, projects, and our vision for the future. In recent years, we have intensified our efforts to increase the presence of women in technical roles, leadership positions, and governing bodies .
This distinction highlights the work we are doing through our second Equality Plan. A rigorous and dynamic plan, developed in collaboration with employee representatives and supported by an internal regulatory framework on equality, prevention, and workplace coexistence, guarantees safe, respectful, and inclusive work environments. In addition, we offer mandatory equality training for 100% of our staff and a flexible work model that serves as a strategic tool to promote work-life balance, shared responsibility, and the creation of healthier, more inclusive, and competitive work environments.
Young talent, generational diversity, and social action with real impact
We combine our commitment to young talent with programs like AltiaDigitalHub, Altia Staging, and our onboarding model, along with valuing senior talent and generational diversity. For us, the union of experience and fresh perspectives is a competitive advantage that transforms the organization from within.
Our social action also incorporates a specific focus on education and gender equality to introduce technology to girls and young women, promote STEM careers, and eliminate stereotypes from the earliest stages of education. Our own activities, such as GenTech, and our volunteer collaborations with initiatives like Technovation Girls, Inspira STEAM, 4ESO+Empresa, and Tecnólog@ por un día (Technician for a Day), allow our professionals to share their real-world experience and highlight female role models in the sector.
Recently, we have reinforced this commitment by joining the STEAM Alliance for female talent, “Girls standing tall in science” , promoted by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
Upon receiving the award, Josefina Fernández, Director of Sustainability & ESG, highlighted: “Receiving this recognition is an important boost and an endorsement of our way of understanding business management: placing people at the center and building more diverse, inclusive and sustainable organizations.”
With the awarding of the Most Equal Company Distinction, we reaffirm our purpose to continue building a sustainable, diverse and well-being-oriented organization , with the conviction that equality is an essential condition for innovation and competitiveness in the technology sector.
