The Community of Madrid has presented its new institutional portal, a renewed platform in whose technological evolution, design and integral development we have worked from ALTIA.
As part of this project, we have undertaken a complete overhaul of the portal's digital experience , improving both navigation and usability for citizens and content management for internal teams. In addition, we have migrated to the latest version of Drupal and developed the new platform in its entirety.
The project also included a specific study focused on the portal's high usage, with the aim of optimizing performance and ensuring maximum concurrency at one of the main digital access points in the Community of Madrid. As part of this evolution, we have integrated the developments into a more resilient and reliable technological infrastructure based on OpenShift .
To achieve this, we have assembled a multidisciplinary team of over ten professionals specializing in design, UI/UX, Drupal architecture, advanced search technologies, and continuous integration. We also apply artificial intelligence to our development processes using models tailored to these types of projects and technologies, allowing us to optimize tasks, streamline processes, and improve efficiency throughout the various phases of building and evolving digital platforms.
More than ten years of digital evolution
For over a decade, we have collaborated continuously with the Community of Madrid on projects related to digital portals and e-government. During this time, we have supported the technological evolution from previous platforms to the implementation and development of Drupal, establishing ourselves as one of the leading technology partners in this field.
In the last four years, in addition to the institutional portal, we have led initiatives related to some of the main portals of the Madrid administration, including the Electronic Headquarters, the BOCM, the Contracting Portal, the Transparency Portal, the Electronic Judicial Headquarters and the more than 30 hospital portals in the region.
Our expertise in this field is based on a solid specialization in CMS technologies such as Drupal, Liferay, WordPress, and Adobe. Specifically, we have extensive experience in the Drupal ecosystem, including product configuration, front-end and back-end development, and custom solutions. Furthermore, we have certified professionals and actively participate in the technology community associated with this platform.
As part of our commitment to specialization and technological evolution, in the coming months we will be promoting new official Drupal certifications for our teams.
Beyond the scope of portals, we develop other projects for the Community of Madrid related to IT consulting and digital transformation in areas such as the Presidency, Interior, Local Administration, Justice, Transport and Health.
