We have launched a project for the comprehensive management of the digital infrastructure of the City Council of A Coruña, a strategic initiative aligned with the guidelines of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds.
The goal is to ensure the evolution and optimization of the municipality's core technological infrastructure , which underpins the digital services offered to citizens. In a context marked by increasing demands for information security and operational efficiency, the project seeks to move towards a more modern, secure, and flexible model.
An integrated and future-oriented approach
The initiative envisions an integrated management model that not only ensures the continuity of current services but also allows for their technological evolution. Among its main objectives is the gradual adaptation to cloud environments, facilitating an orderly transition from traditional (on-premise) infrastructures to more advanced solutions.
This approach will allow the City Council to improve the scalability, availability and resilience of its systems, while optimizing costs and simplifying operational management.
Evolution towards the cloud with advanced technology
Within this strategy, the evolution of the database service based on Oracle technology stands out, as it adapts to a cloud model on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This transition offers significant advantages, such as:
- Greater flexibility in resource management
- Advanced process automation
- Integrated security and regulatory compliance
- Smooth migration from traditional environments
- Commitment to digital transformation
With this project, ALTIA reinforces its commitment to local public administrations, acting as a strategic partner in their technological evolution.
