Altia Premia is our initiative to recognize young talent and promote technological innovation among youth. This year's projects stand out for their applicability and potential to generate a positive impact in various sectors, from healthcare to education.
In this sixth edition, the jury, composed of professionals from Altia and the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Santiago de Compostela, has selected the five Final Degree Projects that will compete for the final prize of €1,500, highlighting the high quality of the projects presented.
The finalists are the works presented by:
- Antía Varela Rey- "Emobook. Evolution of the life story application for music-therapy session"
- Carla Pereira Iglesias- "Population-based and correlational study in patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation"
- Martín Omil Nogales- "MY PICTOSTORIES: Animated and interactive stories for everyone"
- Raúl José Salgado García- "PRISMATIC: Machine learning for multimodal cardiac medical image segmentation"
- Uxía Carro Tacón- "PERIOSTAGE: Application for annotating the periodontogram and calculating the stage of periodontal disease"
The finalist projects will be presented to the jury on February 6, 2025.
