The European Fisheries Control Agency (EFCA) has awarded us a framework contract worth up to €6 million to support it in the area of Information Technology . The project will allow the European agency to advance its Digital Strategy and adopt an IT services model that combines the ITIL standard with an innovative development model based on DevSecOps and advanced IT security practices . The framework contract, which has a maximum duration of six years, covers everything from strengthening the existing IT infrastructure to developing and maintaining advanced information systems.

The European Fisheries Control Agency (EFCA) is a European Union entity responsible for coordinating fisheries surveillance and control activities among Member States. As part of its technological modernization process, and in response to the need to be at the forefront and respond more efficiently to the needs of fisheries control in the European Union, the Agency , following a public tender process, has awarded its contract to Altia to enhance its support capabilities in the areas of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems development.

The technology consultancy's project includes IT operations services, providing 24x7x365 support to the Agency and ensuring business continuity, as well as software development services throughout the entire lifecycle of the European agency's information systems. To this end, the firm will implement practices from the ITIL services standard, applicable to both infrastructure and development services, an Agile/DevSecOps model for the implementation and evolution of software applications, a specific focus on IT security, and testing and validation activities.
