ALTIA and Amicos , an association dedicated to the integration of people with disabilities, have formalized a collaboration agreement that marks the beginning of a strategic alliance aimed at generating a real impact on the environment and social inclusion.
The signing of the agreement, carried out by Xoán España, CEO of Amicos, and Josefina Fernández, Director of Sustainability & ESG at Altia, consolidates our commitment to a more responsible and collaborative development model.
The meeting was attended by executives and professionals from our various locations, who shared a day with Amicos at its Comprehensive Care Center in Boiro. During the visit, the teams learned firsthand about the initiatives Amicos promotes to promote inclusion and environmental conservation.

As part of the day, participants took part in a marine restoration project, Cabalga , an initiative promoted by the Institute of Marine Sciences (CSIC), Amicos, and several associations in Galicia and Catalonia, aimed at restoring benthic ecosystems in the Mediterranean and the Galician Atlantic. In the port of Aguiño, our team, led by environmental activists from Amicos, participated in the reintroduction of 200 kelp plants, equivalent to half a hectare of marine forest, in areas of the Atlantic Islands National Park, contributing to the regeneration of an ecosystem essential for marine biodiversity.
