The Award for Proactivity and Good Practices in Compliance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, which the provincial institution received, consisted of an honorable mention in the form of a diploma and a trophy, and the dissemination of projects and good practices developed by the provincial administration itself.
Within the framework of the plan launched by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia , Altia has collaborated with the administration in the areas of legal advice, consulting, and training. Specifically, Altia has provided legal, organizational, technical, and consulting assistance for the BFA-DFB and its provincial entities to comply with data protection legislation and procedures; it has participated in the consulting service for the BFA-DFB and provincial entities to comply with the GDPR and LOPDGDD (Spanish Data Protection Act); and it has provided training sessions on data protection and related to the implementation of the processes mentioned in the previous section.
The award recognizes the work carried out by the Provincial Council, with which Altia has collaborated since 2019, in ensuring the privacy of personal data and digital rights through the plan to adapt to the provincial public sector's data protection regulations.
