Acquisition of Wairbut for 5.4 million euros

We have acquired 100% of Wairbut for €5.44 million, a price subject to possible adjustment based on the Company's results in 2022.

The transaction represents the incorporation into the Group of this company, founded in 2001 and based in Madrid, with a significant volume of operations primarily in public administrations, especially in the Interior and Defense sectors, and in other sectors such as telecommunications and healthcare.

This acquisition represents the addition of a team of high-profile technology professionals to the project, bringing the Altia Group's current staff to more than 2,700 people, according to the most recent figures, with a national and international presence . Furthermore, the experience accumulated by both companies strengthens our market position while opening up new avenues for growth.

Wairbut , with significant experience in the public sector in areas such as defense, interior, and healthcare, brings interesting synergies to drive the digitalization of our clients and adds its vision in areas such as security and IoT with the aim of increasing and complementing the Group's portfolio of services and solutions.

At Altia, we closed the 2021 financial year with revenue reaching €125.9 million (€129.9 million in 2020), with a net profit of €8.7 million (41% more than in 2020). The net margin was 6.95%, compared to 4.77% in 2020, and EBITDA reached €13.7 million, an increase of 16.8% compared to the previous year.

In 2021, the integration process of Noesis, acquired in 2020, was completed , and the company's international presence was strengthened with a reinforced commitment to business in Chile, the incorporation of business in Andorra, and a greater presence in various European organizations.
