We have acquired 100% of Bilbomática for €24 million. This transaction represents the addition of more than 550 professionals from the Basque technology company based in Bilbao to the Group, bringing the workforce to over 3,200. This reinforces the strong and organized growth we have been pursuing since our IPO in December 2010.

Since its founding in 1988, Bilbomática , a Basque-based ICT consulting and software engineering company, has specialized in the digital transformation of the public sector, in areas such as public administration, the environment, healthcare, tourism, innovation, industry, social welfare, utilities, and energy, among others. It has extensive experience in technological areas such as GIS, Microsoft, Java, web portals, interactive data visualization, document management, mobility, and augmented and virtual reality, all under advanced information security standards. All these capabilities are now part of Altia, whose offering continues to grow with the incorporation of new solutions and technologies, thus continuing to offer top-level technological services to its clients.

High technological profile and solid management team

The more than 550 professionals joining Altia have a high technological profile and are located primarily in Bilbao, Madrid, Pamplona, and Vitoria. Their incorporation into the Altia Group is particularly relevant in a current climate of fierce competition for talent acquisition and retention. ALTIA now has a workforce of more than 3,200 people , with a presence almost equally distributed nationally and internationally. The newly incorporated management team, with proven strength and solvency, will contribute to the Group's growth and development by lending their experience to an expanding business project.

“Today is one of the most important days for our company, which is carrying out a very important operation in its history.

Bilbomática's extensive experience, particularly in the public sector, its position in the Basque Country and Navarre, and its broad portfolio of clients and projects within the European Union will allow us to strengthen our position as one of the leading providers to both Spanish public administrations and European agencies. This is, without a doubt, the perfect complement to our current service offering, while also opening up new opportunities for professional and personal development for everyone at Altia."

Constantino Fernández · President of Altia

Bilbomática closed 2021 with revenues of €36.44 million and EBITDA of €2.65 million, clear indicators that it is a business on a growing trajectory and with solid prospects, confirmed by a first half of 2022 also showing growth.

Víctor Malpartida and Walter Mattheus, President and CEO of Bilbomática , respectively, point out that "this transaction will allow us to boost Bilbomática's business and continue its growth trajectory in various geographical areas, reinforcing our customer service capabilities .
