Today we had a very special visitor at our offices in A Coruña, Santiago, Vigo, and our Data Center: 24 middle and high school students spent a morning sharing our passion for technology at the 9th edition of Technologist@ for a Day.
Technologist for a Day is a program of the Agency for Technological Modernization of Galicia ( AMTEGA ) that aims to promote STEAM vocations and interest in digital professions among secondary and high school students.
During the morning, they were able to meet our professionals and learn about their careers within the company, as well as the studies they completed to get to where they are. They also attended technology talks, for example, about our transportation management solution, ALTIA Control Tower , or about something as topical as how to train an algorithm. Some lucky ones were also able to visit part of our Vigo Data Center or participate in one of our team's daily meetings.

Not forgetting, of course, other areas of the company: this time they spent some time with our talent team, which also allowed them to learn about another way of working in a technology company without being a technologist.
