Over the two days, we had the opportunity to hear from leaders from different sectors and share the revolution that technology brings to companies. We were also able to discuss with the people who attended how to address the challenges it brings.
Among the many presentations at the Congress, attendees were able to hear from Tino Fernández, president of Altia, at the panel "Corporate Governance: Without Technology, There Is No Strategy." He was joined by Fernando Lucero, former CIO of Iberdrola, and Alfonso Jiménez, Partner at Exec Avenue, who shared their views on the importance of technology and the challenges it brings when addressing a governance strategy.
In the words of Tino Fernández: "A CIO is a highly capable person accustomed to solving complex problems and can sit on board bodies and assist in the migration to more traditional boards, with more financial, economic, and legal profiles."
