At ALTIA, we have been supporting organizations in their technological evolution for years, helping them respond to an increasingly dynamic, complex, and demanding environment. With the creation of the new Business Applications unit, we are moving forward with a clear conviction: technology must be a true engine of transformation , not just an additional layer on top of existing processes.
The challenge is no longer just digitization, but connection. Connecting processes, data, and people to build more agile, more efficient organizations, and above all, those better prepared to make real-time decisions. In this context, management platforms play a key role as the operational core around which business activity is structured.
My vision stems from a simple idea: business applications must cease to be isolated systems and become truly interconnected ecosystems. Ecosystems where information flows seamlessly, where different areas of the organization share a common vision, and where technology acts as a facilitator of that integration.
However, not all organizations are starting from the same point. Some are beginning their digitization process, others already have systems in place but disconnected, and still others are looking to make the leap to more advanced models based on data and artificial intelligence . Therefore, our approach is based on supporting each client from their current situation, defining a progressive evolution that allows them to generate value from the outset and grow sustainably.
In this sense, the move towards increasingly comprehensive and flexible platforms is enabling organizations to evolve towards more customer-centric models, where every interaction generates value. It's not just about managing data, but about activating it : transforming it into actionable knowledge that drives relationships with customers, citizens, students, patients, or partners, and optimizes internal processes and improves decision-making.
Furthermore, we are at a point where artificial intelligence is beginning to integrate seamlessly into these platforms. This opens the door to a new paradigm: that of "agent" organizations , in which systems not only execute tasks but also assist, recommend, and even anticipate needs. The key lies in incorporating these capabilities coherently , aligned with business objectives, and always with a practical approach.
From the Business Applications unit, we will work precisely to ensure that technology has a tangible impact on the daily operations of organizations. We are committed to solutions that allow for the genuine integration of different business processes, improve efficiency, and facilitate smarter management. But above all, we seek to generate value from the outset, with proposals that respond to specific and measurable needs.
A joint journey
For me, taking on this challenge means continuing a journey I began at ALTIA in 1994, the year it was founded. Over these years, I've had the opportunity to participate in technological transformation projects in sectors such as public administration (especially in areas of economic development), industry (including military shipbuilding), and education. Throughout this journey, I've worked with a wide range of technologies, from legacy environments to enterprise solutions, cloud platforms , and low-code models, which has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the challenges organizations face and how technology can help them overcome them.
That is the experience I want to bring to this new stage: a combination of knowledge, closeness to the customer, and a clear vision of how technology must evolve to remain relevant.
At ALTIA, we continue to invest in internal talent and strengthen our position in business management solutions. The creation of this new unit is another step in that direction, with the goal of continuing to support our clients in transforming their business models and helping them build more connected, efficient, and future-proof organizations.
