How did you find out about Altia Premia?
This event is held every year at the ETSE (Technical Technical School of the University of Santiago de Compostela), so my final project advisor recommended I sign up. It was a great opportunity to showcase my project in the business world.
What were you looking to improve with your TFG?
I got involved with two other colleagues in a project that we saw as having practical applications. We all went to the gym, so we immediately saw the need to develop an app that would help people improve their technique and protect their bodies from injury.
With this goal in mind, I developed an app that allows an athlete's technique to be analyzed using their mobile phone camera. Using artificial intelligence techniques, their posture is analyzed and simple corrections are made, allowing them to improve their technique and prevent injuries.
What has participating in Altia Premia meant to you?
I was sad about finishing my degree without being able to feel proud of what I did, but thanks to Altia Premia, my work was recognized. Furthermore, as a result of participating in this program, I found a job opportunity at Altia, where I currently work.
