The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) has awarded us, along with two other consulting firms, a contract for the comprehensive management of its technological systems and infrastructure. This two-year contract is part of SEPE's strategy to continue strengthening its technological capabilities to ensure improved service delivery to employees, collaborators, and citizens.

The SEPE (Spanish Employment Service) is the autonomous body responsible for managing employment policies in Spain, ranging from unemployment benefits to job placement. In recent years, the demand for its services has highlighted the need to modernize its technological systems. Strengthening IT infrastructure is essential to guarantee the availability, security, and efficiency of its services, which directly impact millions of citizens and employment administration.

Following previous collaborations with the SEPE on other technological initiatives, we will be responsible for the management and support of departmental systems, an essential component for the proper functioning of the institution. Among the assigned tasks are the administration of workstations, including computers, monitors, keyboards, and peripheral devices such as webcams and signature scanning equipment. These tools are essential to ensuring the daily operations of the SEPE, both in its central departments and in offices located throughout the country.

Coordination, management and administration

In addition, the project covers the coordination and management of IoT solutions, an area in which we will contribute our expertise in managing shift management systems and shared resources. It also includes monitoring peripheral system inventories and the successful implementation of corporate applications, which will allow SEPE to optimize its internal processes and improve the efficiency of its operations.

Furthermore, we will be responsible for the proper management of incidents and requests from users, both internal and external, which requires a robust technical support structure. This system ensures that any problem or request is handled efficiently, minimizing response times and ensuring operational continuity. The contract also provides for tiered support levels that will allow for a service tailored to different user needs, thus contributing to a more agile and effective experience.

“We are proud to contribute our capabilities to the support and development of the SEPE systems,” says Manuel Aranda, director at Altia. “This project undoubtedly strengthens our position in the field of digital transformation of public administrations and allows us to continue demonstrating our technical expertise in highly relevant projects. We know that the proper management of these systems is key to the success of the SEPE, and we are committed to offering solutions that add real value to its operations.”

This new contract underscores SEPE's commitment to innovation and the modernization of its technological infrastructure, which is essential to maintaining its role in the labor and employment landscape in Spain. It also represents an opportunity to continue positioning ourselves as a strategic partner in the field of information technology for the public sector.
