Recent years have put logistics chains to the test , having to adapt to unusual situations: a pandemic, stockouts, fuel inflation, the war in Ukraine, etc. This has forced them to become more flexible in order to adapt to this new landscape.
This flexibility is necessarily accompanied by an intensification of information monitoring and control , making systems integration, document management, business process management, and so on as automated as possible, in order to manage this traceability in a sustainable and cost-effective manner , always with the goal of offering the end customer the highest level of quality and value in service.
Electronic document management is becoming a recurring requirement in the sector, although everything points to this being the moment of truth, both due to European eFTI regulations and the increasing adoption of eCMR , as well as the European budgets freed up to promote digitalization and sustainability.
