The Ministry of Culture has awarded us a contract for the provision of evolutionary, corrective, and improvement development services for its information systems. The project, which will be carried out throughout 2026 and 2027, will ensure the continuity and improvement of key applications managed by the Information Technology Division. With this award, we are strengthening our presence in the field of technological modernization for the Spanish General State Administration.
The Ministry of Culture, through its Information Technology Division, is responsible for defining and overseeing the Department's technology strategy. Its functions include the development and maintenance of the systems that support internal services, portals, and online platforms. Many of these applications have been custom-developed to meet specific needs in cultural management and administrative processing, and evolving regulations and organizational changes necessitate the constant adaptation of these tools. Furthermore, the evolving demands of user units require continuous improvements in functionality and performance. Given this situation, the Ministry has entrusted us with ensuring the technical and functional updating of its systems .
Four application groups
The project encompasses four main application groups. First, applications developed in a .NET environment that require maintenance and upgrades, as well as e-government systems related to the management of cultural grants, subsidies, and scholarships. Third, the management and improvement of the Department's portals , and finally, specific cultural applications , some related to areas such as intellectual property. We will carry out tasks involving analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of improvements , as well as troubleshooting and optimization of existing components .
The service will be provided under a work model based on prioritizing demand and continuous monitoring with quality control mechanisms, in addition to documentation of the actions taken that will allow the stability of the systems to be maintained while they evolve to adapt to new needs.
“ This project reinforces our experience in providing technological support to public bodies that manage complex systems ,” says Miguel Ángel López, Account Manager at ALTIA . “ We contribute a team with specialized knowledge in e-government and areas related to cultural management, with the clear objective of ensuring the operational continuity of the applications and facilitating their evolution with quality and security criteria. Working in public environments demands rigor, coordination, and adaptability, and once again we face this challenge with the responsibility that comes with intervening in critical systems and with the commitment to adding long-term value .”
This new contract consolidates our track record in technological modernization projects for the public sector. We continue to expand our presence in initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of digital services provided by public administrations and strengthen our role as a technology partner in the evolution and maintenance of critical information systems.
